Give yourself a Reiki treatment every day.
Follow the basic hand positions for giving Reiki to others, adapting them as you need to be comfortable.
If a self-treatment is interrupted, always start over at the first position of the body area where you left off. i.e. head, front, back. The energy builds as the treatment progresses.
Always finish a complete treatment within 24 hours.
Add additional positions only AFTER you have completed all traditional positions.
You can do Reiki while you read, watch TV, listen to music, ride in the car, talk on the phone. Doing Reiki with one hand is fine, though both hands are preferred.
Start a separate journal about your Reiki experiences, treatments and results. It will be invaluable in your ongoing process of awakening to Reiki.
